The president of Too Sweet, Lina Ravat, is a type 1 diabetic and has had to tackle the misinformation surrounding diabetes often and educate others about it. She believes that it is important to inform students and the general public about this condition and the difference between the 2 types.

Thanks to Lina's first-hand experience with this condition, the whole team has learnt a lot about what a diabetic's daily routine is like, what early symptoms look like, and if need be, how to help someone suffering from it.

It's really interesting to have her on our team because we have someone whom first-hand deals with this condition on a daily basis and that truly has helped our organisation become successful and useful.
